Interoperability is one of the key challenges for home energy management (HEM) in Europe. Our HEM research team has recently completed a new subscriber report assessing communication protocols & standards, cloud API development, interoperability strategies of HEM solution providers and the role of other important factors (such as global IT giants) on the future HEM interoperability development.
