Experts from LCP Delta and EASE (The European Association for Storage of Energy) presented the 7th annual European Market Monitor on Energy Storage (EMMES) and discussed how the European Union’s Electricity Market Design revision shaped the energy storage market.
EMMES holds the most extensive database on European energy storage projects. The database of over 2,600 projects includes detailed data on current installations by customer segment (residential, commercial & industrial, and front-of-meter) across 24 European countries, with future projects and forecasts up to 2030.
This webinar was live on Tuesday 28, March 2023 at 11:00am where presenters Jon Ferris, Head of Flexibility & Energy Storage, LCP Delta; Silvestros Vlachopoulos, Senior Analyst, LCP Delta; and Jacopo Tosoni, Head of Policy, EASE discussed:
- How the overall European storage market has developed over the last 12 months?
- What are the trends in three major energy storage segments shaping the market and how will this change in 2023?
- How are the new European Union legislative initiatives, and in particular the revision of the Electricity Market Design, going to impact the energy storage sector?
