    11th Annual Micro-CHP In Europe Summit

    A unique networking and information-gathering opportunity for micro-CHP participants and stakeholders

    Running annually since 2005, the Summit is specifically designed for Members of Delta-ee's Micro-CHP Research Service and other selected utilities, boiler manufacturers, product developers and key micro-CHP influencers.

    Delta-ee's 3rd Connected Homes and Energy Summit took place on Thursday 9th March 2017. This year our event expanded and in addition we held a Customer Data Analytics and Energy Roundtable on Wednesday 8th March.

    This event brought together a carefully invited mixture of energy companies, product manufacturers, control companies, service providers and data analytics companies. The Roundtable format has been designed for a collaborative (in so much as confidentiality allows) format, allowing for flexibility on the formal structure (below) and interets on the day.

    Through a carefully prepared mixture of presentations, panel sessions, discussions and workshops it shared, discussed and debated the opportunities for data analytics to create value in the energy sector.     a. Scenario 1: the market is a great success, it has really entered the mass market – and connectivity is embedded in energy supplier, heating industry businesses etc.
    b. Scenario 2: The market has not progressed that much from where it was today

    We will divide the group into smaller groups – some looking at scenario 1, some at scenario 2 – to discuss the reasons why the market is where it is today (in 2020). We will focus on the role of the companies around each table (i.e. not allowed to blame regulator or government!), what has been done really well / badly.
