The Delta-EE European Heat Summit 2019
This invitation-only event brought together key players to discuss the latest developments and expectations for the future of heat in Europe. Our key themes this year were decarbonisation, disruption to heat business models, flexibility, and hydrogen.
The Delta-EE New Energy Summit 2019
The transition from ‘old’ to ‘new’ energy is underway. In this Summit we focus on how this is happening, the opportunities it brings, and how companies are capturing these opportunities.
The Summit was built around three themes which our research shows are shaping the transition:
- The battle for the customer relationship
- The shift in value towards the timing of demand rather than only the quantity of demand
- The impact of digitalisation and the opportunities it can enable
European Heat Summit 2018
In this summit we took a customer-centric, bottom up approach with the consumer at the foundation of the agenda. The morning sessions focused on customer empowerment and the business models which support them; the afternoon sessions considered the infrastructure and system impacts and the policy measures which will be required to meet these aspirations and at the same time deliver on Europe’s ambitions for a low carbon energy future. The programme drew on a number of Delta studies and analysis and was enriched with contributions from industry speakers with experience in specific parts of the agenda.
