rsz flag of russiaDelta-ee’s Distributed Power Service has published its new country report on Russia, containing our updated and detailed gas engine sales forecasts to 2020.  Russia is a global ‘top ten’ gas engine market, driven primarily by the attractiveness of on-site CHP to industries as a means of avoiding high electricity costs and ensuring reliable energy supply.  But we expect the buoyant market of the past few years to fall significantly during the probable – and imminent - economic downturn and recession.  Our new forecasts suggest that the gas engine market will recover by around 2017, when new opportunities will open up for utility power and district heating modernisation. Download the Distributed Power Service prospectus for more details or email Michael Brown.
