Delta Mid-Scale Decentralised Energy Summit

Emerging Technologies and European Markets: 30 kW to 3 MW

Amsterdam, Netherlands
27th September 2006

This Delta Summit examined the prospects for mid-scale decentralised energy markets in Europe, together with the potential impact of emerging technologies – such as fuel cells, gasification, micro-turbines and energy storage - on these markets. Topics discussed included utility strategies, the views of end users, perspectives from project developers and technology developments.

The invitation-only event was designed for utilities, manufacturers and product developers, ESCOs and project developers. By bringing these organisations together, the Summit aimed to provide views from and discussion between key decentralised energy stakeholders.

The Summit featured panel sessions, presentations and ample time for discussion and networking. It was preceded by a drinks reception and dinner on the 26th September.
