Michael has worked in the CHP and decentralised energy sectors since 1992, representing industry groups in these areas at UK, European and international levels, and providing consulting services to private and public sector clients since 1998. Up to 2006, he served as the founding Executive Director of the World Alliance for Decentralized Energy (WADE). He was also the founding Executive Director of COGEN Europe and, before this, the Assistant Director of the UK CHP Association. |

Jon has ten years experience in the decentralised energy and low carbon sectors. A founding director of Delta, he previously worked for Platts as manager of its E Source Distributed Energy and Micro-CHP research services, subscribed to by utilities and other organisations around the world. Before that, Jon worked for the UK's Energy Saving Trust, managing their programmes to support the take up of cogeneration and the development of energy services offerings. |

Andy has over 20 years’ experience in the energy industry, predominantly with Wood Mackenzie where he has held a number of roles in research, consulting and business development. He played a leading role in the globalisation of Wood Mackenzie’s downstream oil practice and has extensive consulting experience, gained from managing market studies, strategy advice and transaction support projects for industrial and financial clients. Prior to Wood Mackenzie, Andy worked for Wefa Energy and he gained his industry experience with BP Oil International, with roles in both the UK and Germany. |

Since joining Delta in September 2007, Cian has worked on a wide range of decentralised energy topics. Cian currently manages Delta’s Electricity Storage Service as well as specialising in UK and Central and Eastern European CHP markets. Other key areas of interest include electric vehicles and Local Authority low-carbon strategies. Cian joined Delta after completing an MSc in Sustainable Energy Systems at the University of Edinburgh. |

David is a Chartered Environmental Engineer and joined Delta in November 2007. David has supported Delta in major CHP and decentralized energy reports (e.g. OECD and IEA). David currently manages Delta’s Micro-CHP Service and has specialized in micro-wind, photovoltaics and CHP markets (Belgium, India, Italy, Portugal, Romania, Spain, Turkey and US). Before joining Delta, David worked for a year and a half as an Environmental Consultant in Portugal. |

Lindsay leads the small wind turbine market research and consulting at Delta, and has worked on a wide range of energy market issues since joining the company in December 2007 including wind, low carbon strategies, emissions trading and CHP. She is currently leading the Utility Low Carbon Strategies multi-client project. Lindsay joined Delta with a strong research and analysis background, following completion of a PhD and First Class honours degree in Geography from the University of Edinburgh. |

Stephen is currently leading Delta’s Electric Vehicles Service and has developed expertise in global PV markets, and CHP markets in Northern Europe. Since joining Delta, Stephen has carried out research covering
a wide range of decentralised energy technologies. Other areas of
research include electricity storage, wind energy and demand response.
Stephen joined Delta in June 2008 after completing an MSc in Sustainable Energy Systems at the University of Edinburgh. |

Marlene joined Delta in November 2008 with five years experience as an environmental consultant. Marlene currently manages Delta’s consultancy assignments, her focus being on low carbon strategies for utilities and local authorities. Her previous roles involved project management, client liaison and technical input on various renewable energy projects.
Marlene has a wide range of experience relating to development of, and planning for, renewable energy schemes (including feasibility studies) for a range of technologies. |

Sarah brings 5 years of office and support experience to Delta. She provides full internal administrative and office management support to the Directors and Analysts while also attending to the wide range of day-to-day and week-to-week office needs.
Prior to joining Delta in April 2009 Sarah worked on a number of contract administrative assignments for a range of companies and charities. |

SIMON MINETT -

Simon is a specialist in the fields of cogeneration, energy efficiency and the integration of distributed generation into electricity networks. He has 19 years experience in the energy sector. He is also highly experienced in national and EU energy and environmental policy development. He has served as the Managing Director of COGEN Europe (1998 – 2006), a board member & vice chairman of WADE, and a board member of the European Business Council for a Sustainable Energy Future. Prior to COGEN Europe, Simon worked for the UK energy agency ETSU for 8 years, responsible for the cogeneration programme of the Government's energy efficiency scheme. |

YASUSHI SANTO -
Associate (ex-Osaka Gas)
Yasushi (Yaz) worked for 40 years for Osaka Gas, Japan’s second largest gas company. His last position was as General Manager of their Research Institute for Culture, Energy and Life. Yaz has also served as General Manager of their International Business Department and their London Office.
Based in Nara, Japan, Yaz works as a part-time associate with Delta, and has excellent contacts in and relationships with Japanese gas and electric companies, as well as the wider energy industry. He is also Visiting Professor at Kwansei Gakuin University and has translated several energy publications into Japanese, including “Small is Profitable”. |

DAVID SIGSWORTH -
Associate (ex-Scottish & Southern Energy )
David is an Associate of Delta, and has a wealth of experience in the UK energy industry, having been appointed as Commercial Director of Scottish Hydro Electric plc in January 1995 and subsequently holding several positions on the board of Scottish and Southern Energy plc (SSE). During the latter part of his career, he had responsibility for all of SSE’s environmental issues and managed one of the largest and most diverse generation fleets in the UK with over 10,000 MW of plant. He was also responsible for a £1bn programme of investments in renewable generation technologies.
David is now active in promoting high technology start-up companies, involved in the renewable and sustainable energy markets, and holds several associated non-executive directorships. He is also Chairman of Sigma Capital Group plc, Vice President of the Combined Heat and Power Association (CHPA), a board member of Energy Action Scotland, a member of the Advisory Boards of ITI Energy and NaREC (New and Renewable Energy Centre), as well as a trustee of the think tank, Sustainability First. |
