Thanks to everyone who attended our 2010 Summit (see outline below). We will announce details of our 2011 Summit in due course.
If you would like information on our plans for 2011, including opportunities to present, please contact Andy Bradley: andy.bradley@delta-ee.com
Scope & Attendees
Delta’s invitation-only 'Energy Services in Europe' Summit brings together European utilities and other key stakeholders in the energy services sector, to explore:
 |
The nature of the energy services opportunity |
 |
Utility energy services strategies, business models and approaches |
 |
Who will dominate these markets |
 |
Challenges in exploiting the opportunity |
Attendance is limited to 50 people to provide delegates with a high quality knowledge sharing and networking opportunity. The Summit is developed for European utilities (retail, innovation, smart grid, and corporate strategy business units) with a focus on mass market customers.
Why Energy Services Matter
The 2010 summit explored how utilities can build a broad energy services capability for their customers and how they run the risk of conceding significant competitive advantage if they are unsuccessful.
With a focus on how some utilities – and new entrants – are already building value from this growth and identifying synergies with smart grid developments and how exploiting opportunities on the customer-side of the meter such as efficiency measures, low carbon heat, distributed generation and ‘smart’ demand. The summit allowed delegates to see how these factors were enabling broader and deeper customer relationships – and opening up opportunities for utilities to influence and control the timing of demand.
